This gathering will provide a comfortable atmosphere in which to share a respectful\, thought provoking\, and life affirming conversation on the topics of death and dying. The goal of a Death Café\; is to increase awareness and comfort with the topic of death\, thereby helping people make the most of their finite lives. It is a group-directed discussion of death with no specific agenda and is not affiliated with any religious organization. The Death Café\; was founded by Jon Underwood in September 2011 and there are now over 13\,000 Death Café\;&rsquo\;s in 80 countries.
\n\nCoffee/tea and cake are traditionally served at the gathering. We encourage our participants to enjoy a cuppa and a lovely treat in our new comfortable setting.
\n\nKathleen Budreski\, RN\, BS\, EPM &ndash\; Kathy is certified in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling as well as Educational and Pastoral Ministry. She is a seasoned Death Café\; moderator.
\n\nAmanda Murphy\, RN\, BA\, HN-BC\, HSMI &ndash\; A frequent wellness workshop facilitator\, Amanda is certified in Holistic Nursing\, Holistic Stress Management and Health Education &\; Coaching. She has co-facilitated several Death Café\; with Kathy.
