DESCRIPTION:Join us on Friday\, June 13th\, and Saturday\, June 14th for our Young Colonial Gardeners Activity Sessions held at the Atwood Museum as part of Historic Chatham Weekend. \n\n \n\nWhat makes plants healthy? What type of gardens did early colonials have in the 1700s? Have you ever wanted to plant your own miniature garden? Come to our Young Colonial Gardeners session and find out!\n\n \n\nOpen to children of all ages\, and a perfect activity while parents peruse the museum! Come explore within the Atwood gardens\, learn about gardening in Colonial times\, and even plant a potted mini garden that kids can take home for themselves! We will explore a variety of herbs and spices grown in our real garden where kids will be able to touch\, feel\, and dig.\n\n \n\nYoung Colonial Gardener sessions will be offered on both Friday and Saturday of Historic Chatham Weekend from 10:30am-12:30pm on both days. Tickets are $5 per person and are available at the door.
