The Atwood Museum welcomes fortepianist Daniel Adam Maltz to our 2023 Summer Concert Series!
\n\nDaniel Adam Maltz is a fortepianist based in Vienna\, Austria. He is in demand worldwide with 50+ tour dates each year.
\n\nHe studied historical performance at the Royal Academy of Music in London and the University for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Daniel refined his command of historical techniques and practices through private study with distinguished historical keyboardists Andreas Staier and Ingomar Rainer.

\n\nDoors open at 6:00 PM\, performance begins at 6:30.
\n\nConcessions\, including beer\, white wine\, and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages\, will be sold at the Museum. There will be a limit of two alcoholic beverages per attendee.

\n\nDaniel Adam Maltz is a fortepianist based in Vienna\, Austria. He specializes in the First Viennese School &mdash\; Haydn\, Mozart\, Beethoven\, and Schubert.
\n\nHe made his Carnegie Hall (Weill) debut at age 22 and has 50+ tour dates per year as a sought-after soloist\, chamber musician\, and clinician.
\n\nDaniel studied historical performance at the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Universitä\;t fü\;r Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna.
\n\nHe refined his command of historical practices through private study with Andreas Staier and Ingomar Rainer.
\n\nDaniel is devoted to performing on Viennese fortepianos &mdash\; utilizing the vast range of tones and colors familiar to the composers. He brings his expertise in the Viennese sound\, culture\, philosophies\, and performance practices of the Classical era to his interpretations.
\n\nHe also enjoys the 18th-century practice of leading orchestras in concerto and symphony performances from the keyboard\, acting not as a modern conductor\, but as a leader from within the ensemble.
