DESCRIPTION:Originally called Decoration Day\, from the early tradition of decorating graves with flowers\, wreaths\, and flags\, Memorial Day is a day for remembrance of those who have died in service to our country. \n\n \n\n \n\n\n	\n		\n			\n		\n	\n\n\nMemorial Day Observance\n\nChatham's Memorial Day observance will be held on Monday\, May 27 outdoors at the Community Center at the World War I memorial on the front lawn of the Community Center at 10 a.m. \n\nIn case of inclement weather\, the ceremony will be moved                                                               indoors to the gymnasium.
