Chatham Turkey Trot - 2026

22^nd Annual Chatham Turkey Trot, a Thanksgiving Day 5K benefiting the organization’s programs and services. The route travels through downtown Chatham, past Chatham Lighthouse, and along sweeping ocean views. Registration for runners and walkers is $35 through November 6 and $45 beginning November 7.
 
Proceeds will help stock LCOC’s nine emergency food pantries across the Lower and Outer Cape and support its financial assistance program and Katy’s Korner, a free clothing and home goods center in Orleans. LCOC also provides Thanksgiving meals with turkeys/chickens and all the fixings to more than 900 households, distributes winter coats to children and adults, and hosts Santa Stop, a holiday toy distribution for families.
 
Founded in 2005 by Chatham residents Linda Redding and Mary Parsons as a benefit for LCOC, the Chatham Turkey Trot is now managed by LCOC staff and volunteers. The 5K (3.1-mile) event draws as many as 3,000 participants to downtown Chatham, along with hundreds of spectators.
