Broadway’s roots can be traced to Classical Music.  The Chatham Music Club’s June 22^nd Gala Concert will feature music of Leonard Bernstein, Alexander Borodin & George Gershwin whose works have embodied Classical & Broadway Musical genres.  Well known vocal & instrumental solos, duets, quartets and ensembles include selections from Bernstein’s West Side Story and Mass, the Broadway hit Kismet based on Borodin’s themes and other instrumental & organ works, Gershwin’s “Porgy & Bess” “Lullaby” for string quartet and so much more!  The Scholarship Competition winners will thrill us with their winning audition pieces.  Order tickets on our website www.chathammusicclub.com or call 508-945-5446.
